Mums of True Life was formed for spiritual growth, mutual encouragement and fellowship amongst the mums in the community.

“Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.” Proverbs 31:26-28

The Proverbs 31 woman is the oft-quoted role model in scripture for mothers, wives and ladies. A mother’s role is an important one, more so in a convenant home. Mothers are called to nurture and nourish the children spiritually and physically with wisdom, kindness, joy and diligence. This is a challenging journey wrought with many struggles unique to those the Lord has called to be mothers.

We meet every first Friday morning of the month in different homes. This is when we meet to sing, hear God’s Word and have a time of sharing over brunch. Currently, the series of messages is on mothers in the Bible. We also meet for outings with our families during the school holidays and have informal gatherings, as well as visitations.
