Train Up a Child with God’s Word

Dear Pastor Jeffrey,
I am so sad and sorry for I could not make it to the True Life BPC Camp. By the grace of God and your prayers and True Life BPC’s designated offerings, we all here—I and my family and all the children—are fine and doing well. Praise the Lord.
As I mentioned many times before, that when True Life BPC knew about our New Life Orphan Centre’s (NLOC) really poor situation, you all showed more love and concern and prayed and gave cheerfully to NLOC since 2005. From that time till today, NLOC is able to meet her daily needs. NLOC is running well and doing well, and has a fruitful and joyful life. NLOC is under True Life BPC and was adopted by True Life BPC as her mission and her child.
True Life BPC sent a designated offering on 4 April 2011. I spent it wisely. I divided the amount into 4 areas: (1) for food, (2) for school fees and needs, (3) for health when we get sick and (4) for other needs. From April to June, I spent according to what I had divided it for and till today we have enough good food. Thank God for good health. I could pay for school admission fees and tuition fees and other required payments to the school before the school reopened in June. I bought the school uniforms and school textbooks and exercise books, pens and pencils, all the things the children needed in school. Now, all the children (from Primary to University) are schooling without difficulties. Praise the Lord.
When you visited us, you saw to NLOC’s most important need. You saw to it that we all here learn the Fundamentals of the Christian Faith during our summer holidays (from March to May) to be taught by Rev Biak and Pr Lian Uk. We all enjoyed and loved learning the Fundamentals of the Christian Faith and we all really know what we ought to know and live by as Christians. We can share with other people about who we are who have not known us yet. This summer was thus a very good time and precious time compared to last summer because we learned the Fundamentals of the Christian Faith. Praise the Lord.
Not only this, we also learned how to use the computer and all the children can type in English and Burmese and have some basic computer knowledge. This summer was very useful and precious time for us. Praise the Lord.
I thank the Lord so much for your visit to Yangon, to NLOC. You found out and met NLOC’s greatest and most important need that we should know why we are Christians and live as Christians. I really appreciate this because you arranged for us to know this and you asked Rev Biak and Pr Lian Uk to teach the Fundamentals of the Christian Faith to us during March to May 2011 holidays. They also taught us faithfully and patiently and clearly until we understood. They have completed the whole
course. We are so thankful to Rev Biak and Pr Lian Uk and do appreciate them. May God bless both of them and bless their ministries more and more.
Thank God that all the children are now much improved and clever and have more good standards. They are more obedient and study harder and read the Word of God and pray daily more than before according to the will of God applying what they had learned from the Fundamentals of the Christian Faith. I also have more peace and joy and am happier than before.
May God bless you!
Yours in Christ,
Brother Thangno
