Pianists
The piano is the main musical instrument used in our Worship Services. We have a team of pianists who are rostered to play in the English, Filipino and Chinese worship services each week.
Pianists have an important role in worship. Playing with reverence and maintaining a balanced tempo and volume encourages the congregation to reflect on the words of the hymn and join in singing praises to the thrice-holy God with understanding.
“It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and they faithfulness every night, Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.” Psalm 92:1-3
